1. Candles have been around a LONG time

Believe it or not, candles have been around for thousands of years! The earliest evidence of candles dates back to around 3000 BC in ancient Egypt.

2. Surprising wax selections back in the day

Candles weren't always made from fancy waxes. In the past, people have made candles out of things like animal fat (tallow), whale oil, and even whole fish!

3. It's not just a fanbase name for Chandler from Friends

Did you know there's a special name for someone who makes candles? They're called chandlers.

Nonetheless, candles have improved so much for safer usage and better environmental friendly options over the years.
